Jeanette Seibech

Jeanette Seibech, 88, of Peru, passed away surrounded by family August 22, 2021 at Heritage Healthcare in Peru.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday August 31, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle with Rev. Gregory Jarzombek OSB officiating.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Seibech was born in La Salle on May 25, 1933 to Marion and Alice (Trestrail) Glupczynski. She married Edward Seibech Jr. on December 23, 1950. She worked at Westclox, and she also was a cook at Demo’s and Union 76. She enjoyed playing Bingo and baking holiday cookies. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Peru and past member of St. Roch’s Altar and Rosary Society.

Mrs. Seibech is survived by six children Cheryl Carter of Madison Heights, MI, Cathy Harvey of Spring Valley, Robert (Kristi) Seibech of Alma, AR, Doreen (John) Plochocki of La Salle, Linda Gall of La Salle, and Christine (Steve) Bown of La Salle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, two sisters Patricia Harloff and Betty Schrader, two brothers Marion “Fritz” Glupczynski and William, in infancy.
