Janine Lee Fieldhouse, 64, of La Salle passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 24, at Tonica United Methodist Church with Pastor Phillip Jackson officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of services. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tonica at a later date. Funeral services will be live streamed via the Hurst Funeral Home Facebook page.
Janine was born on July 2, 1960, in Ottawa to Donald and Hallie (Davidson) Roeder. She married David Fieldhouse on June 29, 2002, at Tonica United Methodist Church where she was a member. She was an animal loving, strong-willed, funny, and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She especially loved her pet birds and cats over the years; she leaves behind Sissy, Petey, and Charlie. She took solace in the Lord, Jesus Christ, always being by her side through many health issues.
Survivors include her husband, David; a son, Matthew (Alissa Hilmes) Roeder of Peru; her mother Hallie (Doug) Sergeant of Peru; a sister, Andrea (Mike) Altizer of Princeton; a brother, Michael Roeder (Frederick Strassburger) of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Scarlett Roeder; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Roeder; step-mother, Ireda Roeder; 2 sisters, Lori Domkuski, and Marlene "Bootsie" Roeder, and her grandparents.
