Jake "Big Red" Rexroad

Jake “Big Red” Rexroad, 34, of Peoria and formerly of La Salle, passed away March 11, 2026 at Sharon Healthcare Elms in Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Chico Perez, Pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship in La Salle, officiating.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.  Burial will be private.

Jake was born in Peoria on July 31, 1991 to Deborah Freguson.  He worked at Walmart in Peru.  He enjoyed gaming, fishing, hiking, swimming and spending time with his daughter.  He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Jake is survived by his mother Debbie Kuhl of La Salle; his daughter Brianna Rexroad; seven siblings, Jessica, Elizabeth, David, Jason, Ashley, Angel, and Keith; brother and good friend James Anderson; friend of the family Melissa and friend Alex Montanez.
