Iva Jean Jaegle

Iva Jean Jaegle, 89, of Wenona, passed away December 18, 2025 at Goldwater Care of Toluca.

Private burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Lostant.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is entrusted with services.

Mrs. Jaegle was born in Streator on August 7, 1936 to John and Anna (Block) Murray.  She married William Jaegle on September 11, 1954.  She worked at the Wenona Casey’s for 32 years.

Iva Jean enjoyed camping, boating and playing cards.

She is survived by four children, Kathryn Jaegle, Robert (Tracey) Jaegle, Susan (Dan) Christian and Christine (Ron) White; five grandchildren, Kati, Cassandra, Megan, Kelsey and Zachary; two great-grandsons, Walker and James.

She was preceded in death by her husband William on March 12, 2015, two brothers, Jack and Don Murray and one sister Lou Ann Winter.
