Hubert A. Keutzer

Hubert A. Keutzer, 88, of Peru, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Alex Garncarz, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ in Peru, officiating.  Burial will be at Peru City Cemetery.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday January 24, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Mr. Keutzer was born in Peru on November 7, 1937 to Roy M. and Leona E. (Pinter) Keutzer.  He served with the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960.  He retired as a welder from Everest and Jennings Company.

Mr. Keutzer is survived by one brother, Larry (Janet) Keutzer of Austin, TX; a sister-in-law, Beverly Keutzer of Cherry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gordon and Leon Keutzer, and one sister Kathleen Willis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
