Geraldine "Gerry" Loucks

Geraldine “Gerry” Loucks, 88, of Seatonville, passed away October 8, 2020 in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.

Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 17, 2020 in Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd with Pastor Kevin Donoho, of Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene in Ottawa officiating.  Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley.  Visitation will be in the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Gerry was born in La Salle to Carl and Angeline (Kozel) Sell.  She married Clifton Loucks on September 19, 1959.  She graduated from St. Joseph’s Commerical school in 1948 and La Salle-Peru High School in 1950.  She worked at Duncan Oil Properties and then Lambert Jones Motors.

Gerry enjoyed shopping, dancing, singing, reading, gardening and going to plays.  She loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter Linda (Jack) Huffaker of Seatonville; one son Don (Corie) Loucks of Dunedin, FL; one step-son Curt (Sue) Loucks of Palm Harbor, FL; seven grandchildren, Heather (Zach) Milus of Peru, Amber (Bryce) Quinn of Ottawa, Kyle (Wendy) Loucks of Shoreline, WA, Kendra (Logan) Roberts of Pensacola, FL, Kim (Darryl) Bain of Odessa, FL, Jennifer (Sean) Keresey of Fairfield, CT, and Christina Loucks of Tampa Bay, FL; five great-grandchildren, Morrison and Monroe Milus, Emerson Loucks, Magdalena Roberts, and Samuel Keresey; one sister Nancy (Allan) Smith of Tonica.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clifton on September 29, 1985, her parents and one brother Robert Sell.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude or donor’s choice.
