Gary Lee Glynn

Gary Lee Glynn, 65, passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 11, 2024.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Thursday November 14 at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. J.A. Small officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery in La Salle.

Gary was born in La Salle on November 19, 1958 to Clifford and Dolores (Belski) Glynn. He was a construction laborer. He married Sharon Walzer on November 25, 2002. 

Gary enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his dog, Maggie Ann. 

Gary didn't want this obituary. He wanted just to say "he dead."

Gary is survived by his wife Sharon Glynn; four daughters Christy Cerda, Emily (Dustin) Davis, Alyssa Walzer, and Jade Blackburn; eight grandchildren Sariah, Aiden, Aidan, Olivia, Bryce, Maddie, Brody, and Alex; one sister Linda (Gale) Adams; one brother Terry (Raejean) Glynn; sister-in-law Marcella Glynn; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Larry Glynn, and his devoted dog, Shaki.
