Gary A. Davis

Gary A. Davis, 69, of Streator, passed away August 12, 2024 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Lloyd Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until time of services.  Cremation will follow services.

Gary was born in Ottawa on February 26, 1955 to Frank Allen and Linda L. (Roberts) Davis.  He married Donna Pommier in 1982.  He worked as a garbage disposal driver and J & J in Streator.

Gary is survived by two sons, Justin Davis of Gainesboro, TN and Brandon Davis of La Salle; six grandchildren, Blake Davis, Makyha Davis, Brett Allen Davis, Cole Laboy, Cora Laboy and Corbin Davis; three brothers, Ronald Davis of Ottawa, Stephen Roberts of Ottawa and Chucky Roberts of North Carolina; a ½ brother Kenny Bryant of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James Roberts.
