Gabrielle R. Bolelli

Gabrielle R. Bolelli, 22, of Peru, passed away October 12, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Monday in St. Joseph’s Church in Peru with Rev. J.A. Small officiating.  Burial will be in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Spring Valley.  Visitation will be 4 to 7:00 PM Sunday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Additional visitation will be in the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Gabby was born in Peru on May 28, 1999 to James and Amy (Borelli) Bolelli.  Gabby has a special place in her heart for all her close friends and nurses who helped her celebrate life.  She loved Christmas in July and her Annual Pumpkin Carving.  She loved swimming in her pool, boating in the Ozarks, fishing, and riding on the ranger with her Daddy and PaPa.  She enjoyed riding on her bicycle and taking Zoey and Khloe for walks.  She ran bases in the Challenger Baseball League and won many medals in Special Olympics Bowling.  Gabby was the 2002 Easter Seal Ambassador and was a Lighted Way representative for their Radiothon.  In 2017 Gabby was granted a Make a Wish and spent a wonderful week at Disney.  Gabby loved school and her Light Way Family and was able to celebrate her graduation in 2021.

Gabby is survived by her parents, Jim and Amy Bolelli of Peru; maternal grandparents, Ron and Anne Borelli of Peru; six cousins, Sarah and Megan Bolelli, Ethan and Emma Borelli, and Ben and Rachel Wendel; aunts and uncles, Chris and Tammy Borelli, Jeff and Tina Borelli, Steve and Angela Wendel and Joe and Chris Bolelli; special friends that are family.

Pallbearers will be Dan Stash, Brennan Caputo, Michael Weger, John Yattoni, Ryan Giacometti and Marlee Giacometti.
