Freida Wenzlaff

Freida Wenzlaff, 98, of Wenona, died July 3, 2018 in St. James Hospital in Pontiac.  

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in Zion Lutheran Church in Wenona with Rev. Peter M. Glock officiating. Burial will be in Wenona Cemetery.  Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:30 AM until time of services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is assisting the family with her arrangements.

Mrs. Wenzlaff was born in Wenona on March 24, 1920 to Roy and Stella (Shaw) Hoge.  She married Walter Wenzlaff in 1945.  She was a homemaker and member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Wenzlaff is survived by one son James “Jim” Wenzlaff of Austin, TX; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, two brothers, and two sisters.
