Frank Terando Jr.

Frank “Super T” Terando Jr., 77, of Ladd, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024 in OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A private Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd is entrusted with Frank’s funeral arrangements.

Frank was born in Spring Valley on April 29, 1947 to Frank and Hazel (Budnick) Terando Sr.  He married Sarann Lunn on September 4, 1965.  Frank worked at Illinois Valley Cartage in Peru with Teamster Local #722 for 13 years.  He then worked until retirement at Double D Trucking in Peru.

Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards and conversing with the guys in his garage.  He was a member of Tri City Saddle Club where he enjoyed horseback riding.

Frank is survived by his wife Sarann of Ladd; two daughters, Carrie (Eric) Sartain of Ladd and Frankie Lynn (Bobby Wig) Terando of Mendota; three grandchildren, Aaron and Ashley Sartain and Nicolas Ortega; two sisters, Jeanie Bochnik of Peoria and Anna Marie Jaraczewski of Yorkville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.
