Florence Sharpe Obituary

Florence C. Sharpe, 93, of Peru, passed away March 23, 2026 at Allure of Peru.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 26, at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle with Rev. J.A. Small officiating. The Hurst Funeral Home has been entrusted with her funeral services.

Florence was born in Oglesby on September 2, 1932 to Conrad and Amelia Schneidner. She worked at Westclox and married Robert Sharpe.

Florence is survived by one son, David (Christine) Sharpe of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren, Jackie, Tonya, Dominic, Wendy, and Andrew; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sharpe, one son, Robert Sharpe Jr., one daughter, Linda Myers, and several brothers and sisters.
