Eric L. Mora-Nieto

Eric L. Mora-Nieto, 33, of La Salle, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2025. 

Mass of Christian burial will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 16, at St. Hyacinth's Church in La Salle with the Very Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Burial will be at St. Vincent's Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be Wednesday at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Eric was born in Peru on August 28, 1991 to Jose R. and Michelle Lynn (Gebhardt) Mora-Nieto. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, watching football, helping his grandmother with the chickens, and hanging out with the bros. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. 

Eric is survived by his grandmothers Maria J. Nieto of La Salle and Diane Gebhardt of Peru; his parents Jose and Michelle Mora-Nieto of La Salle; one sister Jessica (Brandon) Mora-Nieto of Grand Ridge; his son Jessick; one nephew Isaac; uncle, Luis Mora; aunt Carrie (Matt) Seibert; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.
