Elizabeth "Betty" Klieber

Elizabeth "Betty" Klieber, 69, of Wenona, passed away at home on July 20, 2024.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will not be any services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is assisting the family with arrangements.

Betty was born in Streator on May 13, 1955 to Francis and Elizabeth (Nelson) Klieber. She was a registered nurse working at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator and then Asta Care Nursing Home in Toluca. She enjoyed crafting and attending crafts shows with her sister, Mary Ann. 

Betty is survived by one sister Mary Ann (Norman) Perona of Streator, a sister-in-law Kristine Klieber of Wenona, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jim Klieber and Donald "Smokey" Klieber, and one niece Jamie Hansen.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
