Elaine Johnson Obituary

Elaine Johnson, 84, of Ladd, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2021 in La Salle County Nursing Home in Ottawa.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private Celebration of Life will be at a later date with her family. The Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd is assisting her family.

Elaine was born in Spring Valley on July 27, 1936 to Collin and Mary (Novak) Manahan. She married Edward P Johnson in 1974.

She graduated from Hall High School and was a waitress and hostess for varies restaurants. She enjoyed watching old movies, westerns and police dramas.

Elaine is survived by one son Jeff (Linda) Sittler of La Salle; four grandchildren, Ann Baker of Malden, Jeffrey J. Sittler II of Princeton, Tammy Lynn Sittler of La Salle and Sam Rahburg III of Peru; and one brother Lyle “Butch” Manahan of Tonica.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward and one daughter Tina Marie Rahburg.
