Edith M. Alleman, 73, of Tonica, passed away October 12, 2022 in St. Margaret’s Health in Spring Valley.
A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday from 4 to 6:00 PM in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica.
Edith was born in Aurora on March 27, 1949 to John and Frieda (Schindlebeck) Colvin. She married Thomas Alleman on June 4, 1987. She enjoyed crafts, painting and spending time at the campground by the Vermilion River. She owned and operated Edith Alleman Painting for 25 years.
Edith is survived by her husband Tom of Tonica; four children, Brad (Jeanie) Lutz of Tonica, Tim Lutz of Tonica, Josie Lutz of Tonica and Cristy (Thom) Stevens of Tonica; six grandchildren, Jamie Reed, Amy Stone, Zak Bickett, Alyna Stevens, Ryan Stevens, and Lily Dombrowski; five great-grandchildren; one sister Rose Cruz of Tonica and one brother Jim (Sharon) Colvin of Carol Stream.
