Donna Sue Pierson

Donna Sue Pierson, 63, of LaSalle died August 4, 2021, in St. Margaret’s Health in Peru.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.

Donna was born in Spring Valley on October 26, 1957 to Walter and Ada (Thompson) Green. She graduated from Hall High School in 1976. She worked at several restaurants in the Illinois Valley and did home health for many years.

Donna is survived by her son; Shaun Green of LaSalle, her fiancé; Michael Young of LaSalle, two granddaughters, one sister; Veronica (Marshall) Glass of Springfield, one brother; Jamie Green of Dixon, several nieces and nephews, and a special cousin; Charles Young, that was very helpful throughout her battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Roberta, Jennie, and Margie.
