Dollie Ann Borostowski

Dollie Ann Borostowski, 74, of Granville, passed away December 15, 2022 in Lacon Rehab and Nursing Center.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday December 21, 2022 from 4 to 7:00 PM in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.

Dollie was born in Peru on November 16, 1948 to Roy Charles and Virginia Ruth (Burger) Gisler.  She married Joseph B. Borostowski on November 29, 1969 in St. Hyacinth’s Church in La Salle.  She was a LPN Nurse for 50 years at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Peru.

Dollie enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, puzzles and gambling casinos.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Dollie is survived by a son Michael Borostowski of Granville; two daughters, Ramona Borostowski of Granville and Laura Borostowski of Granville; seven grandchildren, Andrew Borostowski, Alex and Diana Ely, Abbi (Jackson) Huffstodt, Ariana, Brooke Ann and Adam Borostowski; one great-grandson Kris.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe on September 23, 2020, one granddaughter Brooke Ann and one sister Patricia Butkus.
