Dinah S. Lauderdale-Adams

Dinah S. Lauderdale-Adams, 71, of Spring Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 17, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Dinah was born in Durand, MI on June 25, 1953 to James Boyd and Mable Ruth (Melear) Lauderdale. She worked as a paralegal at various area law firms until her retirement. She was an avid crafter and quilter.

Dinah is survived by one son Matthew (Tabitha) Peters of Spring Valley, one daughter Brenda Peters of Harvard, IL, two grandchildren Austin (Anne) Peters and Alexis (Brigham) Ray, and one sister Sandy Engelmann of IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-granddaughter Elowen.
