David Phelps Obituary

David Julian Phelps, 52, of Macomb passed away March 10, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

David was born in Macomb on August 6, 1969 to Don and Suzanne (Croxton) Phelps. He was a charter captain at Seacoast Yacht Charters in Tarpon Springs, FL.

David is survived by his paternal grandmother Mary Phelps of Holiday, FL; mother and stepfather Suzanne and Fred Spires of Arlington; two sons Jacob Phelps of Phoenix, AZ and Keegan Phelps of Holiday, FL; one brother Caleb (Stephanie Smith) Phelps of Oswego; one sister Sara Phelps of Holiday, FL; and his ex-wife Brandi Phelps of Macomb.

He was preceded in death by his father Don Phelps, paternal grandfather Russell Phelps, and maternal grandparents Marian and Robert Croxton.
