Daniel J. Loebach

Daniel “Duke” J. Loebach, 73, of La Salle, passed away December 11, 2023 in OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will not be any services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Daniel was born in La Salle on July 20, 1950 to Paul and Joanne (Rosencranz) Loebach.  He served with the United States Army from 1970 till 1972 where he was stationed in Germany. He married Kathleen Jo Lolkus on September 16, 1972.  He worked as a laborer with Union Local #393 and lastly at Schweickert Masonry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  His love was spoiling his only grandson Hunter.

Daniel is survived by a daughter Jolyn Loebach of La Salle and one son Eric (Kaye) Loebach of Oglesby; his grandson Hunter Loebach; one brother Mike (Deb) Loebach of La Salle; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathleen Jo on November 26, 2000 and one sister Paula Loebach.
