Daniel A. Hartenbower

Daniel Allen Hartenbower, age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Newnan, GA in the early hours on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born in Spring Valley, IL on January 24, 1955 to the late Frank Lennox Hartenbower and Irma Schofield Hartenbower. 

Along with his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his grandson Seth Foote. He leaves behind his wife, Carol Bowen Hartenbower; children, Jason Hartenbower (Ann), Heather Foote (Duane), Jennifer Hartenbower; grandchildren, Emily Keisel, Grace Hartenbower, Victoria Hartenbower, Makena (Marshall) Thompson, Carmen Foote, Isabella Foote, Isaac Foote, Joy Foote; great grandchild, Wyatt Holladay; brother, John Hartenbower (Connie). 

The memorial service celebrating the life Daniel lived is Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of The First Congregational Church of Peru with Pastor Carl Hammer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 17th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be made in Daniel’s name to Tonica Volunteer Fire Department, Stage 212, Engle Lane Theatre, and the Disabled American Veterans Charity.
