Clifford Eugene Aukland

Clifford Eugene Aukland, 84, of Ottawa and formerly of Wenona, passed away February 24, 2021 in Aperion Care in Marseilles.

Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday in Wenona Cemetery.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is entrusted with Clifford’s services.

Clifford was born in Wenona on March 18, 1936 to Howard E. and Julia Mae (Graves) Aukland.  He enjoyed farming with family and friends or anything they needed help with.  He later worked and lived at The Friendship Village in Ottawa. Clifford had a special smile and was surrounded by many friends.

Clifford is survived by three sisters, Julia Galyan of Los Angeles, CA., Barbara (Dale) Beck of Morton and Harriet (Jim) Brown of Wenona; his best friend Barbara Seaton of Ottawa; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ralph Aukland, and one sister Margaret Engler.
