Christopher J. Toner, 47, of Peru passed away February 24, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday April 14 from noon to 4:00 PM at Jake's Pour House in La Salle. Chris wants people to get together, have fun, and remember the good times we have had through the years. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting his family with arrangements.
Chris was born in Peru on June 17, 1976 to William P. and Dolores (Pietrucha) Toner. He worked as an electrician at Pantrol Inc. in Ottawa. Chris lived a life of happiness. Working on his Camaro that he had owned over 25 years. Camping, boating, playing cards, music and being outside were all thing he enjoyed besides work. He was part of Toner DJ services with his brothers. That allowed him to meet many people. He enjoyed trips to Wisconsin snowmobiling and Michigan boating with some of his closest friends.
Chris is survived by one sister Beth (Gary) Gingerich of Tonica, two brothers William F. Toner of Peru and Randall (Tina) Toner of Bradenton, FL, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
