Carolyn A. Knaff

Carolyn A. Knaff, 89, of La Salle, passed away August 5, 2025, in OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Rev. J.A. Small officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.

Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with her funeral arrangements.

Ms. Knaff was born in La Salle on August 31, 1935, to George and Ella (Lannen) Knaff.  She was a local beautician for many years, retiring from the Oval Mirror in Peru.

Carolyn was a devoted Catholic and past member of St. Joseph’s, St. Roch’s, Resurrection, St. Mary’s in Utica, and St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle.  She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the America’s.  She enjoyed traveling, especially in her church pilgrimage’s and received joy in gardening and tending to her flowers in her yard.

Carolyn is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she cherished deeply.
