She designed greeting cards using inkwell style calligraphy and water colors.  Caroline was a huge believer in astrology.  She enjoyed traveling; her favorite state of was California, where she met and married her husband Michael on September 26, 1985.

Her last years were spent in a nursing home. The family of Caroline would like to THANK the staff at Aperion Marseilles for making those last few months the best she had in years. Nurses: Jessica, Vickie; Kitchen: Angie & Tonya; CNAs: Sonya and Alex; Housekeeping: Jennifer; and Coral in Actives for keeping her nails nice. Thanks to the Hospice team for holding her hand when she needed it and to the Family at Hurst for making everything easy for a niece to get everything together, including Michael.

In her own words to her brother: “The 4 of us--you, Tessie, me and Dianne didn't have the best start in life. Although we were all separated in this life, and went in very different directions, we would eventually find our way back to each other. May God watch over you and your journey home be a blessed one.”
