Caroline A. Calicchio

Caroline A. Calicchio, 58, of La Salle, went back to her Lord’s arms on March 8, 2019.

Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Thursday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Pastor Cameron Graper, Pastor of Ax Church in La Salle, officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of services.  Cremation will follow her services.

Caroline was born in Chicago on December 1, 1960 to Robert C. and June Rose (Lyons) Hecht.  She worked at FedEx Freight in Peru.

Caroline enjoyed gardening, helping others, antique collecting, and bonding with her pets Ruby, Kitty, and Mr. Bunny.

She is survived by two sons, Kyle Lopez of Wenona and Troy Lopez of La Salle; sisblings, Robert (Terri) Hecht of Quincy, Ken (Tonya) Hecht of Quincy, Tony Hencht of Romeoville, Cheryl (Ed) Dodson of Kirkland and Chuck Hecht of Quincy; her companion Rudy Wilson of Spring Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
