Carol M. Keith

Carol M. Keith, 75, of Deer Park, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 surrounded by her family at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will not be any services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica is entrusted with Carol’s arrangements.

Carol was born in Aurora on September 29, 1947 to Arthur and Wanda (Flockhart) Bierbrodt.  She married William J Keith on July 15, 1967 in Tonica United Methodist Church.  She worked at La Salle County Health Department until retirement.

Carol was an avid gardener.  She enjoyed her many flower beds around her home.  She was a member of Tonica United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed wintering with her husband Bill in Gulf Shores, AL for over 20 years.

Carol is survived by her husband Bill; three children, Melissa (Bill) Hicks, William (Carla) Keith Jr and Jennifer (Jason) Kennedy; seven grandchildren, Tanner Kennedy, Taylor Kennedy, Rani Harsted, Bari Gage, Sulleigh Elliott, Briana Keith and Garrett Keith; seven great-grandchildren; one sister Linda Lucas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
