Carmela Reyes Romero

It was with great sadness that the family of Carmela Reyes, 73, announces her passing on  January 20, 2025. Carmela was born in Lima, Peru on July 16, 1951, and passed at Divine Mercy Hospital in Peoria.

Carmela was an avid crafter. She loved knitting, sewing, and cooking. She was a wonderful mother to her children and loved all her family very much.

Carmela is survived by her heartbroken daughters Rosa (Tom) Grob, Viviana T. Reyes, her son Luis Ortiz, her grandchildren Tommy, Josh, Luis, and Liam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brother Gonzalo.
