Camellia Ann Schoepf, 73, of La Salle, passed away December 5, 2022 at St. Margaret’s Health in Peru.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM on February 25, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Father Michael Pica officiating. Burial will be at St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Schoepf was born in Chicago on June 29, 1949 to Alexander and Laura (Jayko) Malawski. She married Thomas Schoepf. She worked for the NewsTribune. She was an avid Chicago sports fan, especially the White Sox. She loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Schoepf is survived by two sons Derek (Staci) Schoepf of Reno, NV and Wayne Schoepf of La Salle; five grandchildren Kailey, Dylan, Mollie, Henry, and Hudson; two great granddaughters Aaliyah and Isabella; and one brother Fred (Georgia) Malawski of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas on October 4, 2017.
