Bruce Norquist

Bruce Norquist, 35, of Oglesby, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on March 3, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday March 15, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. J.A. Small officiating. The family encourages you to please dress in your favorite sports team attire.

Bruce was born in Peru on October 25, 1989 to Blair Norquist and Vicki Redd.  He worked at Buffalo Wild Wings, manager at Jersey Mike’s and manager at Applebee’s in Peru.  He was a district manager for 11 local Casey’s General Stores. He was an animal lover to dogs including Mack, Aspen, Bella and Kayo and his cat Lambo. Bruce was an avid Chicago White Sox and Green Bay Packer fan. He was a graduate of L-P High School and attended Illinois Valley Community College.

Bruce is survived by grandparents Tom and Jule Ann Glynn of La Salle; one sister Rylee (Dustin Leeper) Redd of Galva; one brother Tanner Glynn of La Salle; three nieces, Alitta, Anarah, and Azeyla; one nephew Alikai; special friend Brandon Bozych; and cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father Blair and mother Vicki and stepfather Scott Glynn. Paternal grandparents Lyle and Maryann Norquist and maternal grandparents Dean and Lois Redd.
