Brenda S. Crawford

Brenda Sue Crawford, 69, of La Salle passed away on March 26, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life is pending with the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.

Brenda was born in Decatur on December 3, 1956 to Richard and Barbara (Burgess) Koch. She is a graduate of Illinois State University . Brenda worked as a paralegal with the Herbolsheimer Law Office. She married Mike Crawford in Ottawa on October 11, 2012. In her last selfless act, Brenda was an organ donor.

Brenda is survived by her husband Mike of La Salle; three siblings, Lori (Bill) Ridder of Villa Park, Shari (Alan) Thacker of Northbrook, and Brian Koch of GA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
