Obituary
Bonnie Ellen Nanni, 89, of Dalzell, passed away June 18, 2022 at Liberty Village of Princeton.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley. Visitation will be in the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Bonnie was born in Camp Point, IL on September 9, 1932 to Virgil and Cora (Boran) Lauderback. She married Eugene M. Nanni. Mrs. Nanni worked as a CNA at People’s Hospital in Peru and then Heritage Manor.
She enjoyed the outdoors and took great pleasure in her flower gardens. She also loved watching game shows and cooking for her family. Bonnie’s burgers and fried chicken were the best, but nothing could top her cookies.
Mrs. Nanni is survived by seven children: Wanda (James) Manfredini of Spring Valley, Robert (Nedra) Forbes of Liberty, MO, Kenneth (Vicki) Forbes of Parkville, MO, Mary Plasky of La Salle, Virgil (Helga) Forbes of Liberty, MO, Margaret Forbes of Dalzell, and David (Janet) Forbes of McNabb; eighteen grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters Gladys Ingram of Streator and Beverly Thomas of Versailles; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in 2000 and three sisters.
