August Bornac

August Bornac, 90, of La Salle, passed away August 22, 2024 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Private graveside services will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle with Rev. Gregory Jarzombek OSB officiating.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with his services.

Mr. Bornac was born in La Salle on August 10, 1934 to Joseph and Ann (Braves) Bornac.  He served with the United States Army.  He married Joan Donnelly on November 26, 1960.

Mr. Bornac is survived by his wife Joan of La Salle; two sons, Joseph Bornac of La Salle and James Bornac of Tunnell Hill, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Becky Bornac, seven sisters, and one brother.
