Arden Berkey

Arden Berkey, 86, of Peru, passed away September 3, 2022 in Heritage Health in Peru.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with his services.

Mr. Berkey was born in Landcaster, PA on October 20, 1935 to Robert and Mary (Keister) Berkey.  He married Rose Buccafurri.

Arden served with the United States Army for four years and was stationed in Rhode Island.  He worked as a wood finisher.  He enjoyed fishing, wood working and helping his nephews Paul and Mark Williams at Cedar Creek Ranch in Cedar Point.

Mr. Berkey is survived by his wife Rose of Peru, one daughter Mary Ann Berkey of Peru and niece Rosemary (Larry) Williams of Cedar Point.
