Antioco Diaz

Antioco Diaz, 100, formerly of Ladd, passed away March 17, 2024 surrounded by his family at Aperion Care in Spring Valley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd.  Burial will be in Ladd Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 PM Friday in the funeral home.

Mr. Diaz was born in Mexico on October 14, 1923 to Nikolas and Nazoria (Guzman) Diaz.  He married Jacabo Guzman.

He was an avid reader of the Bible, enjoyed talking to everyone, walking and being outdoors.

Mr. Diaz is survived by three daughters Maria Diaz, Victoria Martinez, and Gloria Aguirre; one son Enrique Diaz; twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, four sons, and one grandson Roger Martinez.
