Annie Stith

Annie Stith, 87, of Wenona passed away October 23, 2021 at Heritage Health in Streator.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona with Pastor Bob Idell, pastor of Antioch Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Annie was born in Flanagan, along with her twin sister, on April 6, 1934 to Joseph Quincy and Leona Victor (Artman) Stith. She worked for Lipton Tea, Archway, and retired from Sunstrand in 1996.

Annie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and collector of shot glasses. She enjoyed riding her scooter around town and her social time at the Boardwalk for breakfast and lunch. Her family meant the world to her.

Annie is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Also she is survived by her good friend Monica Schumaker, who took her to all her doctor appointments.

She was preceded in death by her ten siblings: Stella Mae, Mattie Lee, Joseph Henry, Glenn Richard, William Wayne, Elmer Kenneth, James Edward, Donald Lee, Clifford Dale, and Donnabelle; also preceding her in death was her furbaby Peanut.

Pallbearers will be Max Thomas, Debra Ragusa, Stephanie Shaver, Scott Shaver, Natalie Hendershott, Keith Hendershott, Tate Hendershott, and Jeff McKnight.
