Vernon Joseph Forrester, 57, of Barstow, CA., formerly of La Salle, died unexpectedly at home in Barstow.
Cremation rites have been accorded and celebration of his life will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is handling his arrangements.
Vernon was born in La Salle on July 4, 1960 to Leon C. and Betty Ann (Keith) Forrester. He worked in maintenance at a local hotel in Barstow.
Vernon is survived by three sisters, Jennie Housby of La Salle, Doreen (Ricky) Burroughs of Virginia Beach, VA and Denise Forrester of Mendota; two brothers, Frank Southey of Austin, TX and Richard Forrester of La Salle; loved by many nieces and nephews;
He was preceded in death by his parents.
