Sam Schillaci Obituary
Sam D. Schillaci, 64, of 1934 Crosat St., La Salle, died surrounded by his family at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru on December 18, 2018 after a battle with cancer.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will not be any services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is handling his arrangements.
Sam was born in Chicago on October 27, 1954 to Frank and Jean (Warren) Schillaci. He married Linda Stec on November 23, 1974. He was a laborer by trade.
Sam enjoyed fishing, building bird houses, camping, and collecting and painting sawblades.
Sam is survived by his wife Linda of La Salle; three daughters, Tina Aguilar of Gurnee, Melissa (Oscar Delpilar) Schillaci of La Salle and Samantha Schillaci of La Salle; six grandchildren, Alexis, Karina, Angelina, Nicholas, Danny and Sophia; one sister and several brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Antoinette Schillaci, one granddaughter Andrea Silva and two brothers.
