Sally Kay (Ralls) Cole

Sally Kay (Ralls) Cole, 75, of Galesburg passed away December 25, 2018 in Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg.

A prayer service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday January 1, 2019 at the Knights of Columbus in Monmouth with Chaplain Manuel Rojas officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1:15-4:00 PM.

Sally Kay Ralls was born January 20, 1943 the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Connell) Ralls in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She married Gary R. Bowling. She later married Frederick Cole on June 18, 1994. Sally worked 20 years at Wilson Foods then returned to school and became a nurse. She then worked at Henry C Hill Correctional Center for many years.

Sally is survived by her husband Fred of Galesaburg, two sons Anthony W. (Paula) Bowling of Cameron and Russell G. Bowling of Monmouth, daughter Jennifer L. (Dean) Bowling-Modaff of Galesburg, stepdaughter Catherine (Ralph) Baker of Bucyrus, MO, two stepsons Fred and John Cole of Paxton, eleven grandchildren, seventeen, great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, two sisters Sharon (Kevin) Peabody of Taylorville and Patricia (David) Christianson of Wataga, and brother James Henn of Bemidji, MN, nieces and nephews  

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jordan McHale Gerald,  Eleanor Jean Ralls-Cramer, and niece Sally Christianson.
