Rosemary McLaughlin, 65, of Granville passed away on Friday May 19, 2017 in Heartland Health Care Center in Henry.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 23, in St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Rev. Patrick DeMeulemeester officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Monday, May 22, in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Additional visitation will be 10:00 AM until time of services Tuesday in the church.
Mrs. McLaughlin was born in La Salle on June 19, 1951 to Walter and Ann (Gende) Pieczynski. She worked at La Salle State Bank as a bank teller and also was with First Student as a bus monitor. Mrs. McLaughlin enjoyed cooking, sewing, and knitting. She especially loved watching and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. McLaughlin was a member of Slovenian Union of America Branch #24 and KSKJ.
Mrs. Mc Laughlin is survived by one daughter Melissa (Jeremy) Actis of Magnolia; one son Matthew McLaughlin of Granville; three grandchildren Braiden, Madison, and Karson; and one sister Mary Ann Pieczynski of Granville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
