Rose Mary (Dusak) Kellett

Rose M. Kellett, 92, of Oglesby passed away September 28, 2017 in Heritage Health of Peru.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Monday in Holy Family Church in Oglesby with Msgr. James Swaner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM Monday in the church until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Kellett was born in Oglesby on September 20, 1925 to John and Mary (Govekar) Dusak. She married Melvin J. Kellett on May 5, 1945 at St. Roch's Catholic Church in La Salle. Rose was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Church, SNPJ, and Slovenian Union of American Branch 89.

Mrs. Kellett is survived by three sons Alan (Sandy) Kellett of La Salle, Kevin Kellett of Palm Desert, CA, and Tim (Janice) Kellett of Paso Robles, CA; two daughters Diane Data of Peru and Lori (David) Sudaj of McNabb; six grandchildren Christopher Kellett, Lisa Stuart, Sarah Morscheiser, Eric Kellett, Perla Kellett, and Jamie Kellett; fourteen great grandchildren; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on July 3, 1985, four brothers, three sisters, two nieces, and one son-in-law.
