Robert Sharpe, 64, of La Salle passed away in his home on June 5, 2017.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private burial will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Sharpe was born in La Salle on January 29, 1953 to Robert and Florence (Schneidner) Sharpe. He served with the US Army from 1973 to 1977. He enjoyed fishing. Bob worked at Sunstrand and then at Rolling Mills in La Salle.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his mother Florence of Peru, two daughters Tonya Sharpe of Peru and Jaci Brown of Peru, five grandchildren, one brother David (Christine) Sharpe of Smyrna, TN, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister Linda Culjan, and two grandsons.
