Pamela M. Torchia

Pamela M. Torchia, 57, of La Salle, died unexpectedly the evening of February 3, 2018 in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Burial will be private in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle at a later date.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting her family with her arrangements.

Pamela was born in Portageville, MO on December 30, 1960 to Norman and Cleta (Davenport) Pavy.  She married Thomas Torchia in 1977.

Pamela loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed going to the casino, watching movies and listening to music.

She is survived by one daughter Kari (Michael) Walden of Crystal Lake; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Angelina, Alexis, Mariah, Emily and Morgandy; seven brothers, Michael Pavy, Dave Pavy, Roger (Mone) Pavy, Rick (Teresa) Pavy, Mark (Virginia) Pavy, Daniel (Anna) Pavy, and Larry Pavy; two sisters, Kathy Pavy and Nancy (Mike) Layden; her special friend Jerry Kiley of Spring Valley.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, step father Calvin Groenbach, one daughter Jennifer Torchia and one brother Jerry Pavy.

Memorials may be made to her daughter Kari Walden 320 Harold St. Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
