Michael L. Shan

Michael L. Shan, 39, of La Salle, died August 18, 2019 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday August 27th in Living Word Church of God in La Salle.  Visitation will be in the church from 10:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting his family.

Michael was born in Peru on December 13, 1979 to William H. and Esther L. (Gaul) Shan Jr.  He was a member of Living Word Church of God in La Salle.  He enjoyed bowling, cooking and cutting grass on his rider.

Michael is survived by his parents of La Salle; one brother Elvis (Cheryl) Shan of Spring Valley; his fiancé Marissa Pieski of La Salle; aunts, Sue Parker, Alice Shan and Nancy Shan, all of La Salle; uncle Patrick (Andrea) Shan of Mendota; three cousins, Amanda Parker of La Salle, Willis Parker of La Salle and Justin Parker of Chillicothe.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
