Mary A. Swenson, 62, of La Salle died October 1, 2019 in OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Rockford.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mary was born in Viroqua, WI on February 12, 1957 to Cyrus and Kathleen (Webb) Swenson. She was a CNA and worked Eakas Corporation in Peru. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in La Salle. She enjoyed art and knitting. Mary also loved her pets.
Mary is survived by two sons Richie Basques of La Salle and Max Breidel of WI; two daughters Kathleen Erickson of WI and Brittany Sliker of RI; several grandchildren; 3 brothers Charles Swenson of CO, John (John Breen) Swenson of Chicago, and Jeff (Angie) Swenson of WI; two sisters Janet Swenson of WI and Karen (George) Wilson of PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Erickson, and two sons David and Sam Erickson.
