Marjorie F. Moorman

Marjorie F. Moorman, 59, of La Salle, formerly of Crete, passed away March 21, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on April 5, 2019 at 11:30 AM. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marjorie was born in Evergreen Park on January 26, 1960 to William and Marjorie (Edgerley) Riebel. She married Laurence Moorman on November 29, 1979. She was a conductor for the Metra.

Marjorie enjoyed cooking and her friends at the railroad. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Marjorie is survived by her husband Laurence of La Salle; four daughters Michelle (Walter) Heneghan of Chicago, Jolene (James) Mullins of St. Louis, MO, Jacqueline (Richie Viktora) Moorman of Lowell, IN, and Melissa Hubbs of Bloomington; five grandchildren Elise, Liam, Elizabeth, Jameson, and Ryan; four siblings Barbara (Kris) Kringle of Tinley Park, Mary Dittman of Venice, FL, Joseph Riebel of Mokena, and Michelle (Hank) Krone of Sarasota, FL; and one sister-in-law Barbara Riebel of Palos Hills.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Patricia Riebel, and one brother William Riebel.
