Louise Loraine Murphy

Louise Loraine Murphy, 94, of La Salle passed away at 9:00 AM October 5, 2018 at Heritage Health in Peru.

A memorial visitation will be Sunday from 3-5:00 PM in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Burial will be at a later date in the DePue Cemetery.

Louise was born in Spring Valley on March 24, 1924 to Andrew and Mary (Baskovich) Kuhar. She married James J. Murphy Sr. on January 24, 1942. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle. Louise enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing cards. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Louise is survived by one son Bill (Cathy) Murphy of Crystal Lake, one daughter Kathy (Don) Topolski of Varna, daughter-in-law Cindy Murphy of Myrtle Beach, SC, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James J. Murphy Sr., son James J. Murphy Jr., six brothers, and five sisters.
