Lois L. Morello, 80, of La Salle, died at 5:01 AM May 13, 2017 in Parker Nursing Center in Streator.
Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Rev. Mark Nowakowski officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Morello was born in La Salle on August 20, 1936 to Lyle and Marie (Byrd) Dixon. She worked in the accounting department at La Salle State Bank. She married Jack F. Morello in February of 1955. Mrs. Morello enjoyed gardening and baking.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Robin) Morello of Ottawa and Brian (Sandra) Morello of Sugar Grove; one daughter Norene Hill of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Chad(Fawn), Dylan(Kimberly), Meghann, Alyssa, Monica, and Kayla(Tom); five great-grandchildren, Remington, Addison, Sierra, Tommy and Layne.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack on March 5, 2014 and one brother Howard.
