Kenneth S. Wrobleski, 72, of Oglesby, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 27, 2018.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Elder Brian Cherpeske officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of services in the funeral home.
Ken was born in La Salle on September 19, 1946 to Stanley and Irene (Pietrowski) Wrobleski. He married Betty Heintz on June 26, 1965. He was a tool & die maker at Sundstrand. He also worked with his son-in-law for Clearview Window Cleaning.
He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, and metal working.
Ken was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness and Spring Valley Walleye Club.
Ken is survived by his wife Betty of Oglesby; one son Dan (Brenda) Wrobleski of Oglesby; three daughters Vicki Alonzo of Ottawa, Julie (Thad) Harris of Oglesby, and Debbie (Ryan) Bibula of La Salle; five grandchildren Nicholas, Heather, Jimm (Tara), Kylie, and Kaitlyn; one brother Dave (Kitty) Wrobleski of Jonesville; two sisters Judy (Chuck) Kellett of Oglesby and Janice (Chris) Friedlein of Gibson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ron Wrobleski, and his son-in-law Eric Alonzo.
